| The track is open for practice Monday and Wednesday nights from 5 to 9/10pm. There will be coaching available and Motorpacing sessions. Development riders are encouraged to come earlier in the evening, so they may learn to ride on the track when it is less crowded.
Track bikes are available for rental ($25/season). Helmets are required. We have bikes of all sizes, so all ages are welcome. (Though I am especially interested in attracting junior riders to the sport...) Also, Friday night races have begun and are open to USCF juniors, women, cat IV and cat V racers (separate track and road bike races will be run if we have riders!). As well, these races are a GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR NON-USCF riders to see what racing is like and have a blast...

Stock Bike Program Come one, come all. Friday nights June 9th through August 18th. The Northbrook Velodrome hosts Stock Bike Racing. The program is open to anyone with a "stock Bike"; any two wheeled bike from BMX to Balloon tire with one working hand break. Racing is open to anyone from the complete novice to USCF racers interested in trying the track. The aim of the program is to encourage one and all to try the track, testing the competitive waters in a fun and casual atmosphere. Riders will participate in races by age group and/or expertise level. All riders must wear a helmet to participate. |
